As we continue to expand our Hardscape division, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Hardscapes Supervisor to lead and manage our hardscape installation crews. This role is responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of residential and commercial hardscape projects, ensuring high-quality workmanship, efficiency, and safety standards are consistently met.


Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate daily activities of hardscape crews on job sites.
  • Plan and execute installations including patios, walkways, retaining walls, driveways, and outdoor living features.
  • Read, interpret, and execute site plans, layouts, and grade elevations with precision.
  • Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet or exceed ICPI and NCMA standards.
  • Train, mentor, and evaluate crew members to maintain a productive and skilled team
  • Operate and oversee the safe and efficient use of heavy equipment (excavators, skid steers, loaders, etc.).
  • Maintain a safe work environment and enforce safety protocols.
  • Communicate with clients, project managers, and team members regarding project progress and any issues.
  • Manage materials, tools, and equipment inventory on-site.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve on-site challenges effectively.
  •  This position involves working outdoors on active construction sites and requires physical labor, including lifting, bending, and operating machinery. 

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in hardscape installation or landscape construction.
  • 2+ years of supervisory or crew lead experience.
  • Certifications: ICPI Certification and NCMA Certification preferred.
  • Licensing: Valid driver's license (CDL preferred).
  • Advanced knowledge of hardscape equipment and products, including operation, maintenance, and application across diverse projects.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans and layouts.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Expertise in heavy equipment operation, troubleshooting, and safety protocols.
  • Ability to lift heavy materials and work outdoors in various weather conditions.Experience with pavers, natural stone, and retaining wall systems
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship
