Monday-Thursday 6:00 am-4:30 pm- 4 ten-hour days

All-weather, climate-controlled working conditions.

What does a Machine Build Technician consist of:

  • Familiar with proper assembly and disassembly techniques.
  • Understanding fastener torques and how things fit together.
  • Able to read blueprints to assemble components.
  • Attention to details and keeping work area organized.
  • Knowledge of the metric system is a plus.
  • Understands hydraulic and pneumatic concepts and how actuators work.
  • Having own tools is a plus.
  • Ability to follow verbal and written directions.
  • Dynamic and varied workplace, not the same thing everyday.
  • Troubleshooting skills a plus.
  • Ability to make small parts or modifications to parts using a manual vertical mill (Bridgeport) a huge plus.
  • Ability to make small parts or modifications to parts using a manual lathe (Hardinge) a huge plus.
