Harbor Crest Behavioral Center Inc. is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team in a full-time remote position. Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver clinical services to clients experiencing major mental illnesses or emotional disorders through individual, group, and family therapy sessions.
  • Participate actively as a collaborative team member, contributing to shared goals and best practices within the organization.
  • Engage with clients and families from various cultural backgrounds, applying an understanding of their diverse traditions and beliefs to tailor treatments accordingly.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop integrated care plans, and ensure coordinates among various support services and stakeholders.
  • Implement evidence-based treatment modalities and interventions, providing clients with the tools necessary to achieve recovery and enhance their quality of life.
  • Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed, ensuring services are aligned with client-driven goals and presenting issues.
  • Participate in crisis intervention efforts as necessary, ensuring clients receive timely support during challenging situations.
  • Maintain pertinent records and documentation in compliance with organization and regulatory standards, including timely submission of reports.
  • Engage in quality improvement initiatives and offer insights during team meetings, contributing to enhancing service delivery.
  • Provide on-call support during and after program hours as assigned.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your caseload will primarily include clients within the community who are managing significant mental health challenges. These clients may present with a variety of needs, including crisis situations, substance abuse issues, and long-term mental health disorders. You will be tasked with creating a supportive atmosphere that nurtures trust and empowerment, fostering positive therapeutic relationships that can lead to substantial improvements in clients’ mental health.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) or related field is required.
  • Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of California.
  • Minimum of two years of clinical experience preferred; familiarity with mental health treatment methodologies is essential.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills that facilitate effective interaction with clients, team members, and other stakeholders.
  • Excellent organizational and planning abilities that support the management of varying client needs and service demands.
  • Competency in understanding specialty issues and developmental needs relevant to diverse age groups and backgrounds.
Preferred Experience
  • Bilingual abilities, particularly in English and Spanish, are highly desirable to effectively serve our multi-lingual client base.
  • Previous experience in community health settings or working within under-served populations is an asset.
Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is between USD 70,000 and 85,000 annually, commensurate with education and experience. In addition to competitive compensation, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
