Work Environment

As part of our Community Health Clinic framework, you will engage with patients through telehealth services, ensuring that your expertise and care reach those who need it most. Key Responsibilities

• Provide clinical assessments and therapy to clients experiencing symptoms of major mental health conditions and severe emotional disorders.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve shared objectives, fostering an environment of open communication and innovative problem-solving.
• Respectfully engage with clients from diverse backgrounds, demonstrating cultural competence and an understanding of varying traditions and beliefs.
• Conduct individualized and group therapy sessions, tailoring approaches to meet the specific needs of each client.
• Implement integrated care plans ensuring that clients have access to necessary services while maintaining effective communication among clients, families, and healthcare providers.
• Utilize evidence-based screening methods to assess client needs and create pathways for further treatment.
• Support clients in crisis situations, utilizing de-escalation techniques and analytical problem-solving.
• Maintain meticulous records, ensuring timely completion of documentation and compliance with organizational and professional standards.
• Participate actively in quality improvement committees, contributing insights to enhance service delivery and client outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily serve a diverse client base within the community that faces a range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, substance use disorders, and other severe emotional disturbances. This role is especially critical in supporting underserved populations, ensuring they receive the care and attention they deserve.

Qualifications

• A Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) or a closely related field is a mandatory requirement.
• Current LCSW licensure in the state of California is required.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience, preferably in a mental health or community health setting.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and effectively.
• Proficiency in organizational and time management skills to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently.
• Demonstrate an understanding of developmental needs and issues specific to various age groups and populations served.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred but not mandatory.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working within integrated care models that emphasize collaborative and holistic treatment approaches.
• Familiarity with telehealth technologies and methods for delivering remote care effectively.
• A background in crisis intervention and management.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 to 85,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, Harbor Crest Behavioral Center provides an attractive benefits package that includes:
