Job description

Handyman / Maintenance Technician

Outlaw Equine is seeking a dependable, hardworking Handyman / Maintenance Technician to assist with the general maintenance and upkeep of our equine facility. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, can work independently, and has experience with a variety of maintenance and repair tasks.

Responsibilities
  • Perform general repairs and maintenance of buildings, stalls, fences, and facility grounds.
  • Complete basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting projects as needed.
  • Repair and maintain gates, doors, equipment, and other facility assets.
  • Assist with seasonal maintenance and special projects.
  • Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.
  • Identify maintenance concerns and recommend repairs before they become larger issues.
  • Follow all safety procedures while working around horses, equipment, and staff.
  • Perform other maintenance-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Previous handyman, maintenance, construction, or related experience preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general repairs.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Comfortable working around horses or willing to learn proper safety procedures.
  • Reliable transportation and a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently.
Compensation

Compensation will be based on experience and qualifications.

Applicants who are able to provide and regularly use their own professional tools will be given favorable consideration when determining starting pay.
