Yoder LLC is seeking a Handy Man to support timely, reliable maintenance and hands-on repairs on residential homes and rental properties..

Position Summary

The Handy Man will perform a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks to keep homes and properties in good working order. This role combines practical, day-to-day problem solving with a strong focus on safety, quality, responsiveness and requires dedication, honesty, integrity, dependability, reliability.

In a hybrid work environment based in Fillmore, MO, you will support ongoing home repair and maintenance needs by completing repairs, assisting with some home remodeling.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform minor home repairs, including minor plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general upkeep on properties.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve common issues in home repair and maintenance.

  • Support basic installations and adjustments, ensuring work is completed accurately and according to established standards

  • Maintain tools and equipment, follow safe work practices, and keep assigned work areas organized

Required Qualifications
  • 5 years of experience with general home construction and home maintenance and repairs.

  • Ability to use common hand and power tools safely and effectively

  • Strong attention to detail and a practical, solutions-oriented approach to troubleshooting

  • Basic understanding of safety procedures and safe work practices

  • Must have own transportation and tools.

  • Must be trustworthy.

  • Must be on time.

  • Must be drug and alcohol free.

  • Must be able to get work done alone at times.

  • Must be productive at all times.

  • Must be able to follow instructions to the smallest details.
