Handy Clinic is actively seeking skilled full-time Physician Assistants to enhance our dedicated team at our surgical center in Laredo, Texas. This full-time position is based onsite at our state-of-the-art surgical center, which features a collaborative and dynamic atmosphere. You will work a standard 40-hour week, Monday through Friday, with no on-call duties, allowing you to maintain a healthy work-life balance. The clinic is equipped with advanced medical technology and offers a variety of surgical and procedural services related to women's health.

• Manage your own patient panel while assisting with physician overflow, ensuring comprehensive care for all patients.
• Provide a full range of medical services in collaboration with our Medical Doctors, including performing procedures such as IUD placements, Nexplanon insertions, endometrial biopsies, and colposcopies (if trained).
• Engage in women's wellness examinations, circumcisions (if trained), and other women’s health services.
• Utilize the EPIC EMR system for efficient patient data management and documentation.
• Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
• Receive continuous mentorship and support from an APC council dedicated to your professional growth.

Our clinic primarily serves women across various age groups, addressing diverse healthcare needs in obstetrics and gynecology. By focusing on patient-centered care, we ensure that each woman receives personalized attention and tailored treatment plans that consider her individual health requirements.

• Must hold a valid Physician Assistant Certification and an unrestricted State Medical License.
• A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required; a Master's Degree in Physician Assistant studies from an accredited program is strongly preferred.
• Full COVID-19 vaccination, along with compliance with any additional state mandates, is a prerequisite for employment.
• Proven competencies include active listening, critical thinking, effective communication, and sound decision-making.

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in Obstetrics and Gynecology is required.
• Previous training or experience with the EPIC EMR system is advantageous.
