***$600 sign on bonus currently in effect for all new hires!***
SUMMARY:
• Responsible for the cleanliness of the casino building and facilities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Sweep, mop and vacuum floors in all assigned areas (including Entertainment Center, Bingo Hall, and Backstage Rooms) of the casino on a daily basis
• Clean and sanitize public and team member bathrooms
• Empty and clean ashtrays between EGDs and throughout gaming floor
• Clean all glass, glass doors, and mirrors as assigned
• Replenish handy wipes between EGDs and in all other assigned areas
• Replenish paper towels, toilet tissue, and facial tissue in all assigned areas
• Check and report damage of any EGD, stool, and all other equipment immediately to Housekeeping Supervisor
• Dust and shine furniture and machines
• Pick up all debris off floor throughout the entire facility
• Use all available safety precautions when handling trash, cleaning restrooms, and any bodily fluids
• Place all used cleaning towels and soiled items in appropriate containers
• Empty ashtrays and ash buckets in metal container
• Empty trash on gaming floor and restricted areas throughout the day
• Take trash to compactor on a daily basis
• Respond to urgent situations regarding building and facilities housekeeping needs
• Assist with keeping the housekeeping area (Cave) cleaned and organized
• Speak clearly into radio so everyone will be able to understand the call
• Use good radio etiquette at all times
• Report all found money, coins, tokens, credits left at or in EGD promptly
• Report all lost and found items to Security promptly
• Assist with providing guests with drinks, etc.
• Will perform other duties as assigned by Housekeeping Supervisor, Department Manager, Manager on Duty, or General Manager
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
• GED or High School Diploma preferred, but not required
• No previous experience needed in Housekeeping or Maintenance areas, but preferred
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
• Must have knowledge of housekeeping skills for a large facility
• For safety reason team member must to able to read English
