Senior Electrical Engineer - Ft. Eustis, Newport News Area
 

Summary: Senior electrical analysis, instrumentation design, EMC/EMI, and airworthiness support for Army aircraft and mission equipment.

Key Duties

  • Perform electrical analysis (EA), develop EA reports and flight test instrumentation plans suitable for airworthiness approval.
  • Support EMC/EMI testing, lab/bench testing, design reviews, and risk identification.
  • Oversee less-senior staff and support airworthiness processes.

Minimum Qualifications

  • MUST BE A US CITIZEN
  • ABET-accredited Bachelor’s in Electrical/Electronics Engineering (higher degrees preferred).
  • Bachelor’s + 8 years (or Master’s + 6 years) of aviation electrical/avionics R&D experience plus strong CAD/schematic experience.
  • Ability to oversee staff.
