Who We Need:

The Post Funding Specialist II | Delivery will be responsible for loan delivery of Cardinal Financial’s closed loan inventory to our secondary investor partners. This position will also deliver the loan files requested for all Quality Control Audits and State Audits. This position will include handling various duties to support the final investor purchase and transfer of ownership, including MERS registration and transfers. In this role you will be responsible for oversight of manufactured home detitling. Must maintain a very meticulous pipeline to ensure deadlines are understood and met, as they relate to our investor delivery and to ensuring timelines and fee schedules.

What You Will Do:

  • Delivers loan file inventory to investors based on document bundles and stack delivery requirements.
  • Delivers loan files for all Quality Control and State Audits based on specific stack delivery requirements.
  • Manages the processing of compliance review fees associated with specific DPA programs and housing entities, ensuring accurate and timely handling.
  • Actively manages and follows up on delivery completion with investors.
  • Manages the end-to-end detitling process for manufactured homes on Construction and Exception loans, including borrower outreach, coordination with settlement agents, and direct communication with state titling authorities.
  • MSR Sale due diligence stack and delivery.
  • Completes new investor training, including DPA or HFA partners.
  • Documents imaging into system of record for any missing items required for the loan stack or additional checklists.
  • Reviews and interprets agency and investor requirements to confirm applicable overlays; validate loan file compliance.
  • Completes MERS initial registration and transfers in compliance with warehouse, investor, and servicer requirements.
  • Evaluates and provides input on process and workflow enhancements, procedure updates, and evolving task requirements to drive accuracy and operational efficiency.
  • Oversees any additional projects or tasks as required.
Requirements:

What You Need:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 3+ year mortgage experience required
  • Demonstrated knowledge of closing documentation required.
  • 12+ months Loan Delivery Experience preferred
  • 12+ months of Manufactured Home Detitling Experience
  • Familiarity with the loan sale requirements of a variety of mortgage loan products, including but not limited to: Conventional/HAMP, VA, FHA, and USDA preferred.
  • MERS experience is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Ability to adapt well to change.
  • Exceptional computer skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
  • Detail-oriented.
  • Ability to take direction and comprehend training.
  • Effectively manage multiple demands and competing priorities in a fast paced environment.
