Job Description

As a Mortgage Modification Processor (1099 Independent Contractor) you will process Mortgage Modification files within scope of client requirements.

RESPONSIBILITIES:ย 

*Reviews the modification application submitted and structures the load documentation to accommodate the Investor's Underwriting guidelines.ย ย ย 

*Orders and tracks all required documentation to assure processing time frames are being met and updates system.

*Works with the customer, client and closing agent to resolve questions and/or problems immediately upon inquiry or receipt of documentation from the customer. ย 

*Clears all underwriting conditions working with customer and outside vendors.

*Provides excellent customer service to internal and external clients. Ensures customer service surveys are maintained to client's minimum score. ย 

*Performs other related duties as assigned or directed

Qualifications

* An undergraduate degree in a business discipline preferred

* At least 2 year's of Loss Mitigation Processing experience in the past 2 years.

* Recent documented experience working within the current regulatory environment - DU/DO and LP

* Experience processing for HAMP Conventional, FHA, VA and Rural loans

*Articulate and organized communication skills face to face in writing and on the phone - comfortable talking with borrowers and clients.

* Uncommonly organized - with a mindset that thinks in terms of process efficiency

* Friendly, outgoing, engaging personality - you genuinely like working with people!
