Software Engineer - Back End/AWS -7+ yrs of Experience (PARTIAL TELEWORK) - TS/SCI w/Poly clearance is required - BT
Halogen Engineering Group is looking for a Software Engineerwith web services experience.
Location: Annapolis Junction, MD/Hybrid
Travel Required: No
Shift: Day
Remote Type: Hybrid (Up to 16 hours of telework dependent on tasking)
Security Clearance: Current TS/SCI
Polygraph: Required
Salary Range
The projected compensation range for this position is 160K-165K(annualized USD).
Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.
Requirements
  • Experience supporting development and execution of test procedures for software components
  • Experience generating technical documentation
  • Experience working in an Agile development environment
  • Experience with Amazon Web Services
  • Experience using tools such as Jira and Confluence
  • Experience ensuring quality control of developed and modified software
  • Experience with the following technologies:

Git
Java, C++, or Python
Relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL)
SQL
Qualifications
  • AMaster's degree with five (5) years of software engineeringexperience
  • OR aBachelor's degree with eight (8) years of software engineering experiencein a Qualified Engineering Field (Aeronautics, Biomedical, Chemical,Civil, Computer, Electrical, Environmental, Mechanical, Nuclear, Software,Systems, and Engineering Management) or a related discipline (Chemistry,Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, and Physics) from anaccredited college or university
  • OR aHigh School Diploma or GED with twelve (12) years of software engineering experience.
