Role Type: Area Store Manager
Reports To: District Manager
Role Purpose
The Area Store Manager is responsible for the overall performance of multiple stores, including sales results, customer experience, team development, and operational execution. This role leads store teams and is accountable for delivering consistent business results. This role focuses on strategic leadership and building strong leadership capability at scale.
Core Responsibilities
1. Multi-Store Performance Leadership
  • Drives sales, service, and operational performance across assigned stores/districts
  • Reviews performance trends and sets strategic priorities
  • Leads the team to deliver strong daily and weekly results

2. Field Leadership Development
  • Recruits, develops, and coaches store associates and retail sales leads
  • Develops a positive, accountable team culture
  • Builds leadership bench strength and succession plans
  • Provides performance feedback and development direction

3. Operational & Brand Consistency
  • Reinforces service expectations and selling behaviors
  • Addresses and resolves customer concerns when needed
  • Ensures stores consistently meet company standards with high-quality customer experience
  • Identifies operational gaps and drives corrective action

4. Operational & Visual Standards
  • Ensures store standards are consistently met in operations and merchandising
  • Maintains an organized, safe, and well-presented environment
  • Oversees inventory processes and backroom organization

5. Business & Administrative Management
  • Manages scheduling, payroll, and labor alignment
  • Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures

Required Qualifications
• Three or more years of retail management experience.
• Demonstrate strong leadership, organizational and planning skills as well as effective management, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with technology required
• Ability to work a flexible schedule; including, holidays, evenings and weekends.
• Ability to continuously stand/walk; frequently push/pull; occasionally bend/stoop/crawl/reach above shoulders/kneel; climb a ladder, and carry up to 40 pounds

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree
