OT on a Exempt Contract Contingent Basis located North Carolina 28307 Across The Mid Atlantic Region supporting the The City of Charlottes mission of ensuring the delivery of quality public services and promote the safety, health, and quality of life of its citizens  with Translation, Transcription, and Interpretation services.   

Seeking Haitian Creole Language Translator candidates with relevant Government And Public Services Sector Experience (functional and technical area expertise also ideal) to support professional services engagement for Government And Public Services Sector Clients such as CLT.  This as a Contract Contingent or Contract W-2 (IRS-1099) Translation Services Functional Area - Translation Services Position; however, ProSidian reserves the right to convert to a Full-Time ProSidian employed W-2 Position.

Translate written documents from English to Haitian Creole and vice versa while maintaining original meaning and tone.

Desired Qualifications For Haitian Creole Language Translator | Translation Services [CLT050049] (CLT050049) Candidates:

Fluency in Haitian Creole and English, strong writing skills.

Education / Experience Requirements / Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Translation, Linguistics, or related field; 2+ years of translation experience.

Skills Required

Excellent grammar, proofreading, and attention to detail.

Competencies Required

Ability to meet deadlines and work with digital translation tools.

Ancillary Details Of The Roles

• Certification in translation preferred.
• Proficiency in CAT tools such as SDL Trados.

Other Details

Experience with government or legal translation is a plus.
