Job description

We are actively seeking an experienced CNC Machinist Programmer to enhance our fabrication team, specializing in CNC lathes and mills. This role focuses on programming HAAS machines using Fusion 360 to optimize production, alongside and collaborating closely with engineering and operations to maintain efficiency and quality. Compensation is competitive and includes performance bonuses to reward production goal achievements.

Responsibilities

  • Read blueprints and digital files accurately for machining preparation
  • Program HAAS CNC mills and lathes using Fusion 360 to maximize output
  • Create and maintain a detailed tooling library and workholding database
  • Design parts collaboratively with the Engineering Department
  • Make parts for HOT jobs to supplement operators
  • Train operators on CNC machine setup and operation, writing clear setup instructions
  • Manage and optimize CNC programs to enhance efficiency and meet production schedules
  • Monitor machine maintenance status in coordination with Facility Maintenance personnel
  • Contribute to a results-driven team environment by offering practical solutions and meeting deadlines
