Job Description:

The Communications & Spectrum Dominance (CSD) Segment, Spectrum Superiority - Brevard (S2B) Sector is seeking a detail-oriented, hardworking Engineering Services professional to join our team in delivering customer maintainability solutions and Integrated Product Support (IPS) deliverables for the L3Harris Ground Mid-Course Defense (GMD)/Ground Mid-Course Defense Weapon System (GWS) Program. The engineer will join the team in working closely with program management, engineering, and other functions to contribute to the reliability and maintainability analysis, predictions and planning around spares and repairs, while meeting relevant mandates and statutory requirements.

Essential Functions:

  • Provide IPS support as required by contract to include but not limited to:
    • Level of Repair Analysis (LORA)
    • R&M spares modeling
    • Maintenance Task Analysis (MTA)
    • PHS&T Plans
    • Logistics subject matter contribution to technical and training manuals/materials
    • Life Cycle Sustainment Planning and Cost Modeling
    • Depot Operations
    • Facilities Management
    • Product Support Analysis (PSA)
    • DMSMS/Obsolescence
    • Provisioning
  • Engineering Material Requests
  • Developing and monitoring Key Performance Indicators related to sustainment on program
  • Experience with all Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)A minimum of four years of experience in IPS Development on DoD Weapons Systems and working knowledge of how logistics/sustainment integrates with all 12 elements of IPS

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (technical degree preferred) in related field with minimum of six years' experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in Florida is [$76,500 - $141,500]. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. L3Harris also offers a variety of benefits, including health and disability insurance, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, EAP, education assistance, parental leave, paid time off, and company-paid holidays.
