Position Title: Senior Designer - Pipeline/Mapping

Location: Houston, TX

Position Description

The Senior Designer - Pipeline/Mapping will be responsible performing detail design activities within the Pipeline/Mapping discipline.


Essential Functions

Perform designs and layouts of Alignment Sheets, Property Plats and Permit Drawings utilizing CAD hardware and software.

Review vendor drawings and other documents.

Requirements

Qualifications

5 or more years of experience in a drafting environment developing Pipeline/Mapping drafting deliverables

5 years of CAD experience

AutoCAD 2016 and Civil 3D

Microsoft Word and Excel

Working knowledge of applicable codes and industry standards.

Working knowledge of survey data and aerial photography/imagery

Working knowledge of public domain mapping from federal, state and local agencies such as USGS, USDA, NOAA and DOT

MicroStation V8 a plus

Blue Sky Skyline

ARGIS data and map creation

Microsoft Access


Education

High school diploma required. Associate's degree or certification from technical trade school preferred

Work Environment/Physical Demands

Working conditions are normal for an office environment.

Frequent sitting and operating a computer.
