DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel & Suites by the Galleria, located in the upscale Galleria area is looking for an experienced hotel Sales Manager. If you're outgoing, enthusiastic, have creative selling strategies and ambitious about meeting sales goals.

Required Skills and Abilities:

-At least three (2) years of previous hotel sales manager experience required

-Familiar with Houston/Galleria area highly preferred

-Delphi/Sales Force and previous Hilton experience a plus

-Strong ability to multitask and perform required sales administrative duties

-Extensive knowledge of Food and Beverage etiquette, guest relations and service standards.

-Strong interpersonal skills to assess client needs, negotiate pricing, effectively deal with internal and external guests and provide overall guest satisfaction

Job Description:

-Direct and indirect solicitation for a combination of several markets, including corporate group.

-Conduct persuasive verbal sales presentations to prospective clients for annual, weekday and weekend business.

-Maintain client relationships, up-sell products and services, closing the best opportunities for the property based on market conditions and property needs.

-Understand combination of market segments, competitors’ strengths and weaknesses, economic trends, supply and demand etc. and sell against them to meet monthly and quarterly goals.

-Conduct property tours and promote facilities and services.

-Create banquet event orders, write contracts and service events in relation to a range market segments.
