Description

The Guest Relations Teammate creates a welcoming, high-energy, and exceptional experience for Texas Health employees, community members, and guests. Texas Health Fitness Centers are open to both Texas Health employees and the general public, and this role helps ensure each audience feels supported and at home. The teammate supports daily front-desk and facility operations while building relationships, introducing guests to memberships and services, and helping grow engagement in personal training, group exercise, and wellness programming. The ideal candidate has a genuine passion for helping others and delivering an outstanding fitness experience.


GUEST EXPERIENCE & MEMBERSHIP GROWTH

  • Welcome members, guests, and prospects; assist with check-ins and answer membership, service, and facility questions.
  • Build authentic relationships with members and deliver a personalized, helpful, and memorable experience during every interaction.
  • Lead facility tours and effectively introduce prospective members to membership options, personal training, group exercise, and other services.
  • Support membership, service, and program goals through proactive lead follow-up, phone calls, referrals, walk-ins, and member outreach.
  • Communicate current promotions, programs, schedules, and important facility updates clearly and enthusiastically.
  • Encourage member feedback and help ensure concerns are addressed promptly and professionally.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Maintain a clean, organized, welcoming, and stage-ready fitness-center environment; complete daily facility inspections and assigned cleaning responsibilities.
  • Accurately manage check-ins, memberships, sales, scheduling, member notes, and other transactions within applicable CRM and lead-generation systems.
  • Respond to member, guest, and prospect inquiries by phone, email, and in person.
  • Maintain accurate lead notes and follow-up activity in CRM and lead-generation systems.
  • Maintain knowledge of the Fitness Center's memberships, services, equipment, wellness programs, and policies.
  • Participate in daily huddles, coaching, and team meetings with the Senior Team Lead and/or General Manager.
  • Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety standards.

Requirements

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • High School diploma, or equivalent.
  • Must be a passionate team player.
  • Proficiency in computer applications including Google Suite and database applications, specifically CRM software systems and lead generation systems.
  • Ability to multi-task with strong time management skills.
  • Ability to complete assignments and responsibilities accurately and in a timely manner, often with strict and/or conflicting deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and motivational skills.
  • Must have exceptional customer service experience and skills.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays, if needed.
  • Must frequently lift 25 pounds or more.
  • Must be able to be on feet for at least eight hours per day, if needed.
