Job description


Responsibilities:
  1. During each shift and under the management of the Resident Manager, oversees overall operation of the Guest House at McLeod.
  2. Responsible for proficient management of scheduling Guest House rooms including appropriate communication with guests and staff, guest registration, fund collection, daily collection reconciliation, orienting guests, compiling statistical reports and bookkeeping.
  3. Promotes excellent customer service by maintaining visibility and accessibility with guests and actively pursues opportunities to assist and/or serve guests.
  4. Oversees maintenance of the interior and exterior of the Guest House ensuring all areas are kept clean and orderly on a day to day basis (includes daily inspection of facilities, execution of light housekeeping, oversight of cleaning crew, timely submission and follow up of work orders, and appropriate report out of needs to Resident Manager, Director and staff.
  5. Enforces the McLeod Guest House Rules and policies.
  6. Assists Resident Manager with training new staff and volunteers.
  7. Responsible for assisting Resident Manager with maintaining all necessary records including registration fee records, supplies inventory records, receipt of delivery/invoice records, report services, report of inspection, and daily reconciliation records.
  8. Successfully collaborates with the McLeod Foundation to include notifying the Foundation of donations or prospective donors, penning of thank you notes and collection/submission of funds.
  9. Responds to guest/patient/staff's needs, questions and/or concerns in a compassionate, professional, timely and effective manner.
  10. Other duties as assigned.
