Position Purpose:
We are searching for individuals who are highly energetic, guest-focused, dependable, adaptable, and collaborative to join our THB team as Guest Ambassadors. The Guest Ambassador position is critical to THB's success. As the primary point of contact for each guest who walks in the door, the Guest Ambassador is responsible for all aspects of the guest experience, from greeting guests as they walk in, processing transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash responsibly, running food effectively, and, throughout the interactions, showing each guest the highest level of hospitality. Guest Ambassadors may also be trained as Expeditors, who assist in efficiently and accurately organizing and packaging hot and cold orders for guests, as well as Baristas, who make specialty drinks for guests as ordered. If you are a quick learner who thrives in a fast-paced, guest-oriented environment, this position may be a good fit for you.
Essential Functions and Basic Duties:
• Deliver a friendly greeting and express gratitude to all guests
• Guide each guest through the order process and direct them according to their method of order (delivery, kiosk, etc.)
• Process all guest payments accurately and efficiently, ringing in and accounting for all purchased goods and services and providing receipts, refunds and proper change, as necessary
• Accurately process all coupons, discounts or sales promotions
• Inform guests of specials or sales promotions and make suggestions for additional items as appropriate
• Resolve all guest complaints and defer to manager for additional support
• Maintain a clean working area
• Package all goods according to company standards and procedures
• Provide each guest with a memorable e experience
• As needed, perform as expeditor to accurately organize and package hot and cold orders for guests
• As needed, make specialty drinks for guests, following THB standards and procedures
• Perform other duties, as required
Working Conditions:
• This is a fast-paced, high-volume environment with access to kitchen equipment in tight quarters
• Slip resistant shoes are the standard for the team
Requirements:
Required Knowledge and Experience:
• Proven work ethic, punctual
• Dedication to providing exceptional customer service
• Good communication skills
• Basic business math and accounting skills
• Basic personal computer skills
• Bi-lingual (Spanish) skills are a plus
Required Education:
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred
