This position is fully remote and designed to offer flexibility while maintaining a structured schedule. You will work from the comfort of your home while interacting with students, parents, and educational staff virtually. Our team emphasizes a collaborative spirit and a strong support network, ensuring that although you work independently, you are never alone in your efforts to provide high-quality care. The work hours are Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 6 PM, with no evening or weekend obligations, allowing for a balanced work-life experience.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify mental health needs and develop personalized treatment plans for your clients.
• Deliver evidence-based psychotherapy to individuals and families, focusing on issues such as anxiety, depression, grief, and trauma.
• Perform timely evaluations and intakes, ensuring a courteous and professional interaction with each client.
• Coordinate behavioral health services and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, which includes educators and healthcare professionals, to ensure holistic support for clients.
• Facilitate crisis intervention when necessary, employing mature judgment and advanced conflict-resolution skills.
• Monitor and maintain adherence to mental health policies and procedures, ensuring compliance and the highest standards of care.
• Provide referrals for clients needing additional resources, including medication-assisted treatment (MAT) and inpatient care.
• Engage in regular communication with clients and their families to provide updates and gather feedback on the effectiveness of treatment.
• Screen patients for substance abuse and provide counseling or refer to local resources, promoting overall community health.

You will primarily work with a school-aged population, which includes diverse cultural backgrounds and varying mental health challenges. Your role will be crucial in addressing not only individual mental health disorders but also contributing to the emotional and psychological well-being of families and the school community at large. You will foster an environment of trust and openness, making you a vital resource for both students and their guardians.

• A Master’s degree in Counseling or Social Work from an accredited institution.
• A current and active Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in California.
• Demonstrated excellence in clinical skills with a strong evidence of effective, compassionate communication.
• Professional experience with a focus on crisis intervention and crisis management.
• Proficient in utilizing digital tools to maintain electronic patient records and documentation.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a culturally diverse team and embrace inclusivity in all practices.

• Experience providing mental health services in a school setting is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of local, state, and federal behavioral health initiatives and services.
• Experience with teletherapy platforms and electronic health records management.
