Job Description:

**3rd Shift working in the guard shack**

  • Must be 18 years of age.
  • If under 21yrs old, you must have maintained a valid driver's license for the last 2 years.
  • Ability to communicate verbally and written.
  • Customer service skills
  • Valid driver’s license and a Motor Vehicle Record that meets company approved driver standards.
  • Proficiency in reading, speaking, and writing in English is required for effective communication on-site.
  • Ability to work Weekends (Saturday and Sunday), if needed.
  • A curious nature that helps you to remain aware of the activities around you.
  • Provide excellent customer service, assisting and addressing the concerns of visitors and employees.
  • The ability to remain calm, solve problems, and act effectively in a critical situation.
  • Conduct regular walking patrols to improve the safety of individuals and proactively identify and report security concerns.
  • Monitor facility access points, employing verification procedures to authenticate the identification and credentials of individuals entering or exiting premises, in support of a secure environment.
  • Maintain precise and detailed logs documenting activities, incidents, and notable observations, facilitating comprehensive reporting and analysis for enhanced security measures.
  • Must have basic computer experience and the ability to use a tablet to conduct security reports.
  • Enforce security procedures in the relevant Security Post Instruction.
  • Execute routine tasks with proficiency, such as securely locking and unlocking doors, activating, and deactivating security systems, and diligently monitoring surveillance feeds for signs of potential threats or breaches.
  • Respond promptly and effectively to alarms, emergencies, and other incidents, utilizing appropriate actions and established protocols.
  • Always look professional in a clean and pressed uniform.
  • Informs and ensures compliance of SEI and Clients policies, such as smoking, loitering, parking violations, etc.
