Responsibilities include:

  • Define and develop material strategies to support program and production needs.
  • Assess supply chain resources; aggregate and prioritize demand requirements.
  • Develop, coordinate, and execute material forecasts and delivery schedules.
  • Participate in make/buy decisions, longterm capacity and resource planning, product phasein/phaseout, manufacturing rampup, endoflife and product-line management.
  • Lead affordability, costsavings, and/or process improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Program Management, Manufacturing, Procurement, Engineering, and Quality to resolve issues and meet manufacturing and test schedules.
  • Analyze purchase material supply/demand positions using Material Requirements Planning (MRP) tools.
  • Analyze lead times and identify criticalpath procurements.
  • Work with suppliers to ensure ontime delivery at required quality levels for critical components.
  • Prioritize and communicate impacts of current and potential material shortages.

Basic Qualifications (Level 2):

  • Bachelor's degreeand2 years of related experience in Goods Movement, Subcontracts, Purchasing, Contracts, Finance, Logistics, Planning, or Project Management, or a Masters Degree with 0 years experience
    - OR - 6 years of related work experience in lieu of a degree
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret Clearance
  • Ability to obtain special program access

Basic Qualifications (Level 3):

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret Clearance

Primary Level Salary Range: $65,500.00 - $113,800.00Secondary Level Salary Range: $81,400.00 - $141,200.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
