Grow Therapy Center is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our growing team. Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Grow Therapy Center, you will engage in a variety of therapeutic activities, including but not limited to:

  • Providing individual sessions as well as couples and family therapy, tailoring your approach to meet each client's unique needs.
  • Utilizing evidence-based practices to address issues such as grief and loss, family conflicts, blended family dynamics, and mental health challenges.
  • Implementing treatment plans, setting measurable goals, and continuously assessing client progress to ensure effective care.
  • Facilitating communication among family members to address underlying conflicts and foster healthier relationships.
  • Participating in ongoing professional development, clinical supervision, and team meetings to stay abreast of industry best practices.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily involve adult clients and adolescents dealing with a range of emotional and psychological challenges. You will be addressing issues such as:

  • Alcohol and substance abuse
  • Physical and psychological abuse
  • Grief and loss
  • Family conflicts, including sibling rivalry and cut-offs
  • Job-related stress and medical issues
  • Adjustment challenges in blended families or during separation and divorce
  • Communication barriers within families
Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this role will meet the following qualifications:

  • Possession of a valid and active Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) license in the state of California.
  • A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.
