Work Environment

This position operates remotely, allowing for flexibility while maintaining consistent team collaboration. Working hours are Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, providing you with a structured schedule that promotes work-life balance. Although remote, you will be an integral part of a community health clinic model, which emphasizes accessibility and holistic care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct intake assessments and collaboratively develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each client's needs.
• Facilitate individual therapy sessions using evidence-based practices and methods that align with our organizational values.
• Monitor clients' progress, documenting treatment outcomes and clinical notes through our electronic health record system.
• Engage in regular clinical supervision and professional development opportunities, including internal training sessions.
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers and external agencies ensuring a comprehensive approach to client care.
• Uphold high ethical standards, maintaining client confidentiality and adhering to legal guidelines.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an Associate-Level Mental Health Therapist, you will work with a diverse client population facing a variety of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and interpersonal issues. Your focus will be to provide empathetic and understanding therapy to individuals and groups, fostering a safe space for healing and personal growth.

Qualifications

• Must possess an active registration in California as an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT), Associate Clinical Social Worker (ASW), or Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (APCC).
• A Bachelor's Degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential for successfully building client relationships.
• Demonstrated ability to manage a caseload effectively and maintain professional boundaries.
• Reliability, professionalism, and a client-centered approach must be inherent to your work ethic.

Preferred Experience

• At least one year of prior mental health counseling experience, preferably in an outpatient setting, is highly valued.
• Experience utilizing electronic health records (EHR) to document client interactions and treatment progress.
• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

Compensation and Benefits
