Job description


The Hilton Minneapolis is growing its team and is looking for an On- Property Reservations Manager to join its outstanding hotel!
This is an exciting opportunity to play a hands-on role in the entire reservations process, including managing group room blocks, coordinating rooming lists, developing occupancy strategies, and generating group reservation reports. You'll work closely with the Sales and Events teams, as well as meeting planners, to ensure a seamless experience for every group and event.
Salary: $70,000-$80,000 annually based on experience.
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am-5:00pm
Work Location: On Property at the Hilton Minneapolis

As a Reservations Manager, you're not just managing the hotel's reservations operations - you're spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.
Responsibilities
Here's what you'll do during a typical day:
  • Oversee daily reservations operations: Manage all aspects of the reservations process, including room inventory and availability, group blocks and rooming lists, cut-off dates, rate restrictions, occupancy strategies, and system usage
  • Maximize occupancy and revenue: Assist with review and adjust rate strategies, occupancy levels, and promotional efforts to optimize room sales and achieve revenue targets
  • Collaborate with sales and events: Work with Sales and Events teams to ensure group bookings, corporate rates, and special events are effectively managed to maximize revenue. Along with collaboration of meeting planners on group housing.
  • Generate Group reports: Will help with generating group reports and monitoring group pick up.
