Job description

Are you excited to drive high-visibility logistics and technology solutions. TOM Central Programs is looking for an experienced Program Manager with a record of achieving results, to own and execute key program initiatives. TOM Central Programs is dedicated to improving yard operations through the implementation of world-class processes and technologies, ensuring smooth yard operations.

Our team supports TOM-managed yards across the US and Canada supporting all Amazon lines of business.
You will work cross-functionally and across geographies, partnering with Managers and Senior Managers to understand, implement, and improve TOM programs and initiatives. This role offers the opportunity to partner closely with multiple functions and teams including program management, TOM operations, Relay tech, planning, network optimization, middle mile, topology, finance, analytics, transportation, and more in Amazon Transportation Services (ATS). Such exposure and collaboration with a variety of teams allow opportunities for further career growth within Amazon and beyond.
You will solve complex problems - balancing immediate operational challenges with ongoing program execution

You will help define program goals, own program roadmaps for your area, and contribute to OP1/OP2 narratives. You will coordinate resources and priorities across stakeholders to deliver results. The work balances program ownership with tactical execution, influencing stakeholders and driving measurable outcomes.
Key job responsibilities
Own program execution for your area - setting priorities, making trade-offs between short-term and long-term needs, and communicating effectively to Managers and Senior Managers
Develop and maintain program roadmaps and coordinate execution of rollouts
Manage implementation across a group of cross-functional stakeholders
Contribute to OP1/OP2 narratives while providing ongoing operational support
Use data and metrics to track program health, identify improvements, and report results to leadership
A day in the life
Your day begins with reviewing the status of your active programs and prioritizing work based on business needs and operational impact

You collaborate with TOM operations leaders and cross-functional partners - spanning Relay tech, planning, network optimization, and finance - to gather requirements and translate them into clear program plans and rollouts. Throughout your day, you drive program execution, coordinate implementation across stakeholders, and conduct progress reviews to keep initiatives on track. You participate in project meetings to align on program strategy and provide delivery updates to Managers and Senior Managers.

You analyze program performance data and metrics to identify improvements and make recommendations, while maintaining detailed documentation of decisions, roadmaps, and program changes. You're part of a team that directly impacts yard operations and the performance of TOM-managed yards across the US and Canada.
