Job description

Are you a highly organized professional who enjoys supporting sales teams and ensuring operational excellence? Guardian is seeking a Sales Support Associate II to provide operational and administrative support for a regional sales team, ensuring the timely execution of sales-related activities, maintenance of critical business records, and delivery of exceptional service to internal and external partners. In this role, you will help drive efficiency and accuracy across sales operations while serving as a key partner to Regional Group Office (RGO) staff.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Proven math and analytical skills

  • Ability to access, navigate, and utilize internal systems and SharePoint sites

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

  • Strong data entry and record maintenance skills

  • Professional communication and customer service abilities

  • Ability to work effectively across a matrixed organization

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in an administrative, operational support, sales support, or customer service role

  • Experience supporting sales or account management teams

  • Familiarity with reporting and data analysis tools

  • Experience maintaining records and managing business processes in multiple systems

You Will

  • Manage the Regional Group Office (RGO) general mailbox, including requests related to RFPs, intake activities, experience reports, Agent of Record (AOR) changes, and renewals

  • Prepare, package, and distribute outgoing mail and shipments as needed

  • Print, collate, and assemble materials for meetings, presentations, and business events

  • Maintain and update broker information, Sales Representative assignments, CMO assignments, RGO assignments, and other business records to ensure accuracy

  • Process broker firm and producer changes related to AOR updates, mergers and acquisitions, split compensation agreements, and block transfers

  • Provide administrative and operational support for RGO staff and office activities

  • Generate reports and utilize data analytics to support sales activities, operational effectiveness, and performance tracking

  • Serve as a point of contact for external partners, including brokers and planholders, ensuring professional and timely communication

Location and Work Arrangement

  • The work arrangement is Hybrid (2 days a week in office). The successful hire will be required to work out of Guardian's Plano Regional Office at least once per week.

Salary Range:

$37,240.00 - $55,855.00

The salary range reflected above is a good faith estimate of base pay for the primary location of the position. The salary for this position ultimately will be determined based on the education, experience, knowledge, and abilities of the successful candidate. In addition to salary, this role may also be eligible for annual, sales, or other incentive compensation.
