JOB SUMMARY:
Groundskeepers maintain the grounds of the property in a conscientious manner. They work with attention to detail in order to ensure the property is in top condition. If you have effective time management and a positive attitude you are an ideal candidate. Must be able to work outside in unpredictable weather as this position requires a significant amount of time outside.
CLASSIFICATION: Full-Time, Hourly/Non-Exempt
SHIFT: Monday - Friday 8 am-5 pm
COMPENSATION: $19-$22 per hour
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
  • Ensure meticulous upkeep of grounds, amenities, building exteriors and leasing office, parking lots, and other community buildings
  • Remove trash from office areas and apartment community perimeter daily
  • Assist in the preparation of market-ready units, including trash removal from vacant apartments
  • Assist and perform assigned maintenance tasks in a timely manner
  • Assist in the cleaning of available units and models
  • Assist in the troubleshooting/repairing of mechanical, carpentry, and electrical problems
  • Report any maintenance concerns for repairs to the maintenance supervisor
  • Work on-call as scheduled, weekend shifts and overtime as necessary and approved by manager
  • Perform tasks and operate machinery in a safe manner and in compliance with safety procedures
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements
EXPERIENCE:
  • Previous groundskeeping experience
  • Strong communication and customer service skills

Preferred
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills
