Frazer, a leading builder of emergency medical vehicles, is currently seeking a Detailer to join our team. The Detailer at Frazer reports to the Quality Control Supervisor, and is responsible for cleaning the inside and the outside of vehicles according to company standards using a variety of cleaning equipment and products while making sure that the finished product is ready for inspection.
This position is expected to actively live out Frazer Core Values while working with Frazer employees, vendors, and customers to help achieve team, department, and corporate goals. Responsible for learning and reinforcing safe and proper work procedures while actively following Frazer Safety programs and other policies outlined in the Employee Handbook.
What Does a Week in the Life of the Detailer Look Like?
  1. Clean the vehicle's cab, module, exterior, and all compartments with a high level of detail to ensure the unit is ready for final inspection and customer delivery.
  2. Measure, cut, and install rib rubber, dry deck, and grip tape on the module. Must be proficient in using a measuring tape.
  3. Load, unload, and organize customer spare parts and materials (e.g., consoles, tires, loose items). Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  4. Assist with punch list items, including minor repairs or rework as needed.
  5. Maintain an accurate inventory of chemicals, tools, and equipment.
  6. Work accurately, professionally, and respectfully at all times.
  7. Follow all safety procedures and company policies, including Frazer Safety Programs and the Employee Handbook.
  8. Learn and support process improvements within the detailing workflow.
  9. Respond to department needs via phone, email, or in-person and provide required information.
  10. Communicate and coordinate with Production teams to complete tasks and support workflow needs.
  11. Support team and company goals, meeting expected norms and standards.
  12. Demonstrate Frazer Core Values in all interactions with employees, vendors, and customers.
  13. Follow management instructions and complete assigned tasks efficiently.

Required Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma
  • This is an ENTRY LEVEL position. Training will be provided by Frazer.
  • An Ideal candidate MUST know how to use tape measure.

Oh, and $alary
Of course, we didn't forget salary... Frazer offers competitive pay and this role will start with a salary between $18.00 - $21.00 per hour, depending on education, certifications, and experience.
Work Schedule
The Detailer will work Monday to Friday 5:00 AM - 1:30 PM. Frazer currently runs two shifts, Monday through Friday with overtime on weekend work as needed. Late afternoon/evening/weekend hours may be required as needed. Work schedules may change to accommodate production needs.
