Job description

Mr. Handyman, part of the Neighborly family of nationwide brands, has a commission based opening for an experienced home and commercial repair/improvement technician in the North Austin metro area (including Cedar Park, Leander, and Round Rock).
This position can be paid on an hourly basis or commission as a percentage of revenue.
We provide a wide range of services including carpentry, drywall, painting, floors, electrical, plumbing, and much more.
What we provide for our Technicians:
  • Company van with full graphics, fuel card, and insurance
  • Workers Comp and General Liability insurance
  • Paid holidays
  • Office staff handling scheduling, leads, customer service, financials, etc.
  • Marketing across multiple channels (Google, Yelp, Angi, etc.)
  • National brand recognition and marketing
  • Shared larger tools for all technicians (ladders, table saw, pressure washer, etc.)
  • Pay is commission based on revenue earned starting at 22%
What you provide:
  • 5+ years of experience across all trades related to home and commercial repair and improvement
  • All tools required to complete any type of job
  • Good driving record, valid driver's license, ability to pass background check
  • Comfortable working occasionally on extension ladder
  • Live within reasonable driving distance of North Austin metro area (Leander, Cedar Park, Hutto, Round Rock, Pflugerville, Austin, Georgetown)
  • Solid work ethic, willing to learn, friendly, good communication skills
