The technician works closely with management to assess damage, provide accurate estimates, and deliver high-quality repairs efficiently. Attention to detail and a strong understanding of vehicle body structures are essential to ensure that repairs meet or exceed industry standards. Ultimately, the role contributes to customer satisfaction by providing cost-effective, environmentally friendly, and timely dent repair services across various vehicle makes and models.
Minimum Qualifications:

- Basic knowledge of automotive body repair and paint systems.
- Customer service experience, particularly in an automotive repair or service environment.
Responsibilities:
- Inspect vehicles to identify dents and assess the feasibility of paintless dent removal techniques.
- Utilize specialized PDR tools to carefully massage and manipulate metal panels from behind the dent to restore the original shape without damaging the paint.
- Provide accurate repair estimates and communicate effectively regarding the scope and timeline of repairs.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly cared for and stored.
- Document repair work and maintain detailed records of services performed for quality control and reporting purposes.
- Stay updated on the latest PDR techniques, tools, and industry best practices through ongoing training and professional development.
Skills:
The required skills such as manual dexterity and attention to detail are essential for manipulating metal panels precisely without damaging the paint, ensuring high-quality repairs. Strong communication skills enable the technician to explain repair processes and timelines clearly to customers and collaborate effectively with insurance representatives. Time management and organizational skills are used daily to prioritize repair jobs and maintain an efficient workflow. Preferred skills like knowledge of automotive body repair and insurance claims enhance the technician’s ability to handle complex cases and provide comprehensive service. Continuous learning and adaptability allow the technician to stay current with evolving PDR tools and techniques, improving repair quality and customer satisfaction.
