Toyota Marin seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Paintless Dent Repair (PDR) Technician to join our Service team. In this role, you will be responsible for repairing vehicle dents, dings, and minor body imperfections using paintless dent repair techniques-restoring vehicles to a like-new condition without the need for painting or traditional bodywork. This position plays a key part in delivering high-quality reconditioning for customer vehicles and dealership inventory. 


Requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform paintless dent repairs on customer vehicles, trade-ins, and new/used vehicle inventory.
  • Inspect vehicles to identify dents, door dings, hail damage, creases, and other repairable imperfections.
  • Use professional PDR tools and techniques to restore panels without affecting factory paint.
  • Maintain high standards of quality, ensuring repairs meet manufacturer and dealership guidelines.
  • Document repair findings, time estimates, and completed work in the dealership's service system.
  • Collaborate with Service Advisors, Detailers, and Body Shop staff to ensure efficient workflow.
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and workspaces to dealership safety and cleanliness standards.
  • Provide excellent customer service when interacting with vehicle owners.
Qualifications

Required:

  • Previous experience as a Paintless Dent Repair Technician, Auto Body Technician, or equivalent.
  • Strong understanding of PDR tools, methods, and repair processes.
  • Ability to identify repairable vs. non-repairable dents.
  • High attention to detail and precision.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.

Preferred:

  • I-CAR, Vale Certification, or other PDR training credentials.
  • Experience working in a dealership environment.
  • Familiarity with service department scheduling software.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand, bend, lift, and operate tools for extended periods.
  • Capability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
