Job description

Xcite Automotive is seeking an Automotive Paintless Dent Repair (PDR) Technician  for our partner dealers in Hardeeville, South Carolina! 

Job Description:  Xcite Automotive is seeking an experienced Paintless Dent Repair (PDR) Technician with 3–5 years of proven hands-on expertise in dent removal, hail damage repair, and dealership-level reconditioning. This role is embedded directly in a dealership environment, where you will be responsible for maintaining OEM-level quality standards while working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Compensation is competitive and based on experience, skills, and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality paintless dent repair (PDR) on customer and inventory vehicles.
  • Repair door dings, creases, minor collision dents, and hail damage without the need for painting or refinishing.
  • Accurately assess vehicle damage and provide repair estimates.
  • Ensure all work meets dealership, OEM, and customer standards for safety and quality.
  • Maintain detailed records of repairs performed, hours billed, and parts/tools used.
  • Collaborate with service managers, detail technicians, and reconditioning team members to ensure efficient vehicle turnaround.

 Must-Have Qualifications: 

  • 3–5 years of hands-on PDR expertise, including hail repair and high-volume dealership work.
  • Proficiency with PDR tools and techniques (rods, glue pulling, knockdowns, blending, lighting systems.
  • Experience estimating repairs, documenting work, and collaborating with reconditioning teams.
  • Strong work ethic with ability to handle high volume while maintaining precision.
  • Excellent communication skills for working with managers, teammates, and dealership staff.

Beneficial Types of Previous Experience:

  • Proven experience with hail damage repair, dent/crease removal, glue pulling, and light reflection techniques.
  • Prior work in dealership service or reconditioning departments,
  • Exposure to collision repair or body shop environments (without painting/refinishing), including damage assessment and repair estimates.
  • Experience supporting fleet, rental car, or auction vehicles
