The Role
The selected candidate will operate a wide variety of machines, tools and equipment including turning machines, surface machines, and grinding machines with horizontal or vertical spindle and reciprocating or rotating table to grind flat or contoured surfaces of metal workpieces, such as tool, die, and machine parts. Should- be capable of reading blue prints, using precision instruments, and understanding written instructions. Collaborate with quality control to troubleshoot and resolve dimensional or surface finish issues. Measure and verify work using micrometers, calipers, and other precision instruments. Set up and operate precision surface grinding machines to achieve exacting tolerances. Perform surface preparation on metal workpieces, ensuring smooth finishes and accurate dimensions.
Must Have
Candidates must able to work at extreme heights or small confined spaces.
Must be able to perform overhead work.
Must be able to kneel, squat, crawl, bend, stoop, and climb
Must be able to lift 40 lbs and must take and pass a respirator fit test
Must be able to work indoors/outdoors year round in all weather conditions
Must be able to work assigned shift as production needs
Must be able to pass Physical Agility Test

Blueprint reading is highly desired. High school graduate or equivalent preferred
