Grimmway Produce Group is seeking a Senior Staff Accountant - Farming responsible for supporting the Farm Accounting team and will utilize their skills and experience to ensure timely/accurate analysis and assist in the effort to ensure accurate financial records. They will participate in the daily/monthly accounting tasks. The Senior Staff Accountant will play a key role in maintaining financial accuracy and contribute to the overall success of the department. Additional Info What You Will Need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or related field, required.
  • 3+ years of experience in Accounting/Financial Analysis with increasingly responsible experience, required.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting and GAAP, required.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint, required.
  • Ability to analyze financial data
  • Ability to identify/communicate issues as they arise.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities/deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail Oriented.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate meaningful insights and analysis.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and maintain a driving record that meets company policy, insurance, and DMV requirements.
  • Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment screening consistent with applicable state and federal law.
What Will Set You Apart
  • Previous Ag/Cost Accounting or Public Accounting experience a plus.
  • Previous ERP software experience preferred.

  • Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by factors such as the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
