Job description

Interior Landscape and Greenery Installer

Green Oasis is hiring a full-time Interior Landscape and Greenery Installer based in Austin, Texas. In this hands-on position, you will help install plants and decorative planters, living walls, moss walls, and other interior landscaping features in offices, hotels, and commercial buildings.

The work includes preparing job sites, unloading and moving materials, assembling and positioning planters, using hand and power tools, and ensuring every installation is clean, complete, and client-ready.


This position requires overnight travel approximately three to four times per month, typically for two to three days at a time. Green Oasis pays for required airfare, lodging, and other approved travel expenses.


Hours are generally from around 6:00 a.m. and end around 4:00 p.m., depending on the project and location. On days with large installations or when you are traveling, the days can be longer depending on the travel schedule or project needs.


What You’ll Do

  • Prepare tools, plants, planters, and materials for installations
  • Deliver, unload, assemble, place, and install project materials
  • Follow project plans and installation instructions
  • Keep work areas clean, organized, and client-ready
  • Report damaged, missing, or incorrect materials


Qualifications

  • Ability to perform physically demanding work throughout the day
  • Ability to safely lift and carry up to 50 lbs. of plants, planters, tools, and materials
  • Ability to safely climb and work from ladders
  • Comfortable working indoors, outdoors, and in hot summer conditions
  • Availability to travel overnight three to four times per month
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to follow plans, measurements, and verbal instructions
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Dependable, organized, and able to manage time effectively
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment background check. 
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record


Preferred Experience

Previous experience in any of the following areas is helpful but not required:


  • Interior landscaping or horticulture
  • Furniture or FF&E installation
  • Landscaping or nursery work
  • Commercial installation
  • Construction or general labor
  • Warehouse, moving, or material handling
  • Using hand and power tools
  • Working in active commercial construction sites


Plant-specific training will be provided to the right candidate.
