Job Description

The Laundry Worker sorts linens, feeds linens into ironers and folders, folds linens by hand and packs carts. Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
Must be able to lift up to 50 Lbs.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Sets up and operates machine following established procedures and policies
  • Ensures machinery operates efficiently and effectively to meet productivity requirements
  • Performs daily inspections prior to beginning operations
  • Follows all safety policies and procedures
  • Manages all required paperwork and records and prepares documentation (forms, reports, etc.) when needed


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
  • Able to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects as needed
