Job description

The Head of Americas Infrastructure News will be responsible for the performance of Green Street’s infrastructure coverage in the Americas. The Americas Head will be expected to drive increases in exclusive reporting and engagement, while fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture.


  • Manage reporters focused on core infrastructure, energy, and digital infrastructure and drive an increase in exclusive reporting
  • Maintain rigorous editorial standards for accuracy, integrity, and balance
  • Foster a culture of editorial excellence, collaboration, and accountability
  • Work with colleagues in Europe and APAC to increase collaboration and consistency in our global offering
  • Work closely with the Managing Editor and Global Head of News to analyze consumption data, optimize content mix, and evolve distribution and audience targeting
  • Identify opportunities to strengthen coverage and utilize technology to increase efficiency in newsroom workflows
  • Work closely with news leadership, product, data, commercial, and marketing teams to successfully complete the integration of IJGlobal into Green Street News, including the migration to a new CMS
  • Oversee production of special reports, rankings, and data-driven editorial projects that enhance the brand’s authority
  • Represent the Green Street News in the market and via public speaking opportunities at events

  • Extensive experience as a business journalist
  • Deep knowledge of infrastructure markets would be highly beneficial but not essential
  • Experience in newsroom management role(s) would be highly beneficial but not essential
  • Proven track record of driving exclusive reporting as an individual or team leader

In addition to the posted base salary range, this position is eligible for a performance bonus and benefits (subject to eligibility requirements) listed here. Total compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to, type of position, location, education level, work experience, and certifications. This information is applicable for all full-time positions.
