What are Green Army jobs?

Green Army jobs refer to roles within the Australian Government's Green Army initiative, which was a program designed to engage young people in hands-on environmental projects. Participants worked on activities such as conserving and restoring natural habitats, planting trees, removing invasive species, and improving community spaces. These jobs aimed to provide practical experience and training in conservation and land management, while also benefiting local environments. Although the Green Army program concluded in 2018, similar roles continue to exist in environmental conservation groups and government agencies. These jobs are ideal for individuals interested in environmental stewardship and outdoor work.
