Commercial Kitchen Cleaning Subcontractor
Position Overview
ServiceMaster Clean by Prime is seeking an experienced and dependable Commercial Kitchen Cleaning Subcontractor to perform scheduled deep cleaning services for commercial kitchens. The ideal candidate will have experience cleaning commercial cooking equipment, kitchen exhaust systems, hood vents, and grease traps while maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and professionalism.
Responsibilities
  • Perform scheduled commercial kitchen deep cleaning services according to the approved scope of work.
  • Deep clean commercial kitchen exhaust hoods, hood vents, filters, and accessible ductwork in accordance with industry standards.
  • Clean grease traps by removing grease buildup and debris while following all local regulations and proper disposal procedures.
  • Clean and degrease ovens, ranges, grills, fryers, griddles, steam tables, and other commercial cooking equipment.
  • Clean and sanitize prep tables, sinks, shelving, stainless steel surfaces, food preparation areas, and storage areas.
  • Clean walk in coolers and freezers as directed.
  • Remove grease buildup from walls, ceilings, baseboards, and other surrounding surfaces.
  • Clean floor drains and other high grease accumulation areas.
  • Sweep, scrub, and mop kitchen floors using commercial equipment and appropriate cleaning solutions.
  • Empty trash and replace liners as needed during service.
  • Follow OSHA regulations, food safety guidelines, and all client specific requirements.
  • Report any maintenance concerns, damaged equipment, or safety hazards to the ServiceMaster Clean by Prime office immediately.
  • Take clear before and after photos of completed work and submit them upon completion of each project.
  • Verify that all work has been completed according to the approved scope before leaving the job site.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and provide courteous, professional service while representing ServiceMaster Clean by Prime.

Qualifications
  • Previous experience performing commercial kitchen deep cleaning is required.
  • Experience cleaning commercial kitchen exhaust hoods, hood vents, grease traps, and heavy grease buildup is required.
  • Knowledge of commercial kitchen safety procedures and the proper use of degreasers, disinfectants, and specialized cleaning chemicals.
  • Experience operating commercial cleaning equipment such as pressure washers, floor scrubbers, wet vacuums, and other specialized equipment is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high quality work.
  • Ability to work independently and complete projects within scheduled timeframes.
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding work, including bending, kneeling, climbing ladders, reaching overhead, and standing for extended periods.
  • Ability to work evenings, overnight shifts, weekends, or early morning hours as required.
  • Knowledge of proper grease disposal procedures and applicable local regulations is preferred.
  • Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

Requirements
  • Must pass a background check if required by the client.
  • Must provide a completed W-9 before performing any work.
  • Must provide a current Certificate of Insurance (COI) meeting ServiceMaster Clean by Prime and client requirements before work begins.
  • Must maintain general liability insurance throughout the duration of the subcontractor relationship.
  • Must have a smartphone capable of taking and submitting before and after photos.
  • Must provide or have access to all equipment, tools, chemicals, and supplies necessary to perform commercial kitchen deep cleaning, including hood vent and grease trap cleaning.
  • Must promptly communicate with the ServiceMaster Clean by Prime office regarding scheduling, delays, maintenance concerns, or any issues encountered during service.
  • Must complete all work in accordance with the agreed upon scope of work and notify the ServiceMaster Clean by Prime office immediately if additional services are needed or unexpected conditions are discovered.

Compensation
Compensation is based on the scope of work, facility size, and project requirements. Rates will be discussed and agreed upon before each scheduled service.
