Senior Structural Engineer (10+ Years Experience)

A well-established, multidisciplinary engineering consulting firm is seeking an experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join its growing team in the Raleigh area. This firm specializes in solving complex challenges related to the built environment and is known for its technical depth, collaborative culture, and hands-on approach to engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage projects from inception to completion, including client interaction, scope development, budgeting, scheduling, and team coordination
  • Provide technical leadership across a wide range of structural engineering projects involving evaluation, analysis, design, repair, and rehabilitation of structures
  • Apply deep knowledge of codes, standards, and industry best practices to deliver high-quality solutions
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and serve as a subject-matter expert on structural systems and materials
  • Prepare and review technical reports, calculations, and client deliverables
  • Perform and oversee field investigations, including hands-on assessments and testing
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to knowledge-sharing and professional development across the team
  • Participate in recruiting, training, and broader organizational initiatives
  • Engage with industry organizations, conferences, and technical committees


Qualifications:

  • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in North Carolina
