Responsibilities

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities vary but may include:

  • Works independently and within a team on fundraising campaigns, event planning and other special, nonrecurring and ongoing projects
  • Attends and represents Northside at events, community settings and individual meetings when potential donor opportunities exist.
  • Takes initiative to build relationships and partnerships with potential donors and sponsors.
  • Assists in the development of marketing plans
  • Assists in managing the development of marketing materials - flyers, brochures, ads, web, etc.
  • Market research activities, including competitive analysis both on- and offline
  • Processes incoming donations
  • Maintains an organized system of tracking, monitoring and prioritizing task and projects assigned to the interns
  • Generates new ideas and business opportunities to increase fundraising and fund development to meet and exceed established goals.
  • Prepare presentations
  • Provide support to social media efforts
  • Fulfill requests from marketing leads
  • Answer and /or field telephone calls and communications, and respond as appropriate
  • Handles confidential and non-routine information with sensitivity
Qualifications

REQUIRED

 

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

PREFERRED

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
  • Marketing

  • Junior or Senior Marketing or Communications majors (or similar/related fields) or recent graduates preferred.
  • Candidates must have good academic performance.
  • Excellent written and oral skills.
  • Ability to solve problems and have strong attention to detail.

    Graphic Design

  • Graphic Design majors or recent graduates preferred.
  • Candidates must have good academic performance.

  • Medical and or Coding background (apprentice and or externships accepted or individuals seeking RHIA, RHIT, CPC-A, CPC, CCS, CCS-P, COC)

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Access
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Recent graduate or current student of no more than 6 months from A.S, B.S. or M.S Electronics, Biomedical Engineering, Medical Imaging Technology or Mechanical Principles degree program or equivalent DOD Military education.
  • Must maintain a cumulative GPA of a 3.0 or higher based on a 4.0 scale
  • Analytical and communication skills with the ability to communicate technical issues to the customer in an easy to understand manner
