Job description

Bon Secours Wellness Arena is in search of a skilled part-time Graphics Operator for Live Events who will play a crucial role in enhancing our event productions. This position involves operating graphics systems to ensure that visual elements are displayed seamlessly during various live events, including sports contests, concerts, and community gatherings.

Key Responsibilities

As a Graphics Operator, you will be an integral part of the live event production crew, working in both the broadcast control room and the arena to bring our events to life.

  • Manage and oversee the quality control of all digital signage content, including ribbons, scoreboards, and other visual installations.
  • Operate and maintain graphics systems to display content accurately and effectively, following direction from the Show Producer or Technical Director.
  • Collaborate effectively with the Technical Director, Video Engineer, and Show Director to coordinate the timely display of graphics during events.
  • Prepare and organize media content for digital displays in advance of live events.
  • Conduct tests and rehearsals on control room systems prior to major events to ensure optimal performance.
  • Ensure accurate tracking and fulfillment of sponsored content and advertising assets.
  • Archive footage from live events and respond to footage requests as needed.
  • Diligently monitor and troubleshoot graphics systems to address any issues during live productions.
  • Remain informed on current industry trends, emerging technologies, and software advancements related to graphics operation.

Requirements

  • Minimum of two years of experience as a graphics operator.
  • Experience as a graphics operator in a live event setting is preferred.
  • Experience with Ross Xpression and Dashboard software is strongly preferred.
  • Comprehensive understanding of video formats, resolutions, and live production workflows.
  • Flexible availability for events, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to meet physical demands of the role, including working in high-noise environments and managing a fast-paced atmosphere.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States.
