Job Summary
The Graphic Design & Marketing Specialist is a creative, hands-on role that pairs a strong graphic design skill set with broader marketing execution. Design is the anchor of the role - this person will regularly create polished, on-brand visuals such as brochures, email designs, social media graphics, and marketing collateral using Canva and the Adobe Creative Suite. Alongside design, they will help plan and execute marketing activities across social media, email campaigns, and content, and contribute copywriting and ideas that keep the flyExclusive brand consistent and engaging. The ideal candidate is a designer at heart who is also comfortable wearing multiple marketing hats and thrives producing high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Graphic Design & Brand (primary focus)
  • Design, lay out, and produce print and digital collateral including brochures, one-pagers, flyers, event materials, presentations, digital banners, and advertisements.
  • Design and build visually compelling email templates and campaign graphics that are on-brand and optimized for a range of devices and email clients.
  • Create engaging social media graphics and templates tailored to each platform (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, etc.).
  • Build, maintain, and evolve reusable templates and brand assets in Canva to enable consistent, efficient design across the team.
  • Prepare production-ready files for print and digital output, ensuring correct sizing, bleeds, color, and resolution.
  • Serve as a steward of the flyExclusive brand, ensuring visual consistency - logos, color, typography, and imagery - across all materials and channels.
  • Manage and organize design files, source assets, and the brand asset library.
  • Stay current with design software, tools, and industry trends to continuously raise the quality of our creative.

Social Media & Email Marketing
  • Help develop and execute social media strategy to increase brand awareness, engagement, and followership across platforms.
  • Monitor social media accounts for comments and follow company procedures when a response is required.
  • Plan, create, and execute email marketing campaigns, including newsletters, announcements, and promotional emails.
  • Monitor and analyze email performance metrics and use those insights to make data-driven improvements.

Content & Collaboration
  • Write clear, persuasive copy for marketing materials such as social captions, email content, and web or blog content, and edit and proofread for accuracy and clarity.
  • Maintain brand voice and messaging consistency across all channels.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to translate briefs into creative concepts and manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Partner with the content team to generate ideas and assets for blogs, videos, and campaigns that align with marketing goals.

Required Qualifications
  • Associate's degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated graphic design experience with a portfolio of work.
  • Proven experience in graphic design, with a strong portfolio demonstrating layout, typography, and brand-consistent work across print and digital.
  • Hands-on experience designing brochures, email designs, and social media graphics.
  • Experience with social media management and email marketing execution.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Basic knowledge of SEO and analytics tools is a plus.
  • Experience with motion graphics, short-form video editing, or photography is a plus.

  • Strong eye for visual detail, composition, and color.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including copywriting and excellent proofreading abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Advanced proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign, along with Photoshop and Illustrator.

  • Working knowledge of email marketing platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) and social media management tools.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software used to complete and maintain records.
  • Understanding of design production for both print and digital output (file formats, resolution, color modes, bleeds).
