The Senior Graphic Designer role functions within the Marketing and Communications Creative team as a skilled individual contributor. This person contributes to the overall success of the creative team by taking on more complex projects and leveraging their deep knowledge and expertise in the graphic design field. They will work collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders to create, develop and execute high-impact digital and print assets that align with the Premise Health brand and advance overall business objectives.
Under the direction of the Creative Manager, the Senior Graphic Designer will manage their own set of projects. They are responsible for creating of a wide range of graphic and digital assets such as advertisements, videos, infographics, email graphics, landing page graphics, brochures, flyers, posters,ebooks, case studies, environmentals, iconography, socials, PowerPoint presentations and other multimedia requests.
This is a full time, hybrid Senior Graphic Designer role located in Brentwood, TN.
What You'll Do
• Works closely with all members of the Marketing and Communications team to brainstorm, design, and produce a variety of print and digital assets to fulfill overall business objectives.
• Creates impactful designs that adhere to brand standards while ensuring consistency.
• Owns concepts and projects as part of larger initiatives from concept to completion, escalating issues where necessary.
• Provides direction to printers, photographers, videographers and other external partners as needed to ensure that all creative meets Premise Health's brand standards.
• Maintains partnership with print vendor by organizing uploads and ensuring proper functionality of collateral.
• Communicates clearly and articulate creative concepts, rationale and feedback serving as subject matter expert, to the Marketing and Communications team and internal partner organizations.
• Collaborates with and supports the Marketing and Communications team, as well as the broader enterprise, on strategic design initiatives.
• Provides peer reviews to other designers for brand consistency and quality.
• Works with vendors, outside agencies and internal departments to collaborate, ideate and develop various projects, providing briefs and handoffs as needed.
• Supports project management of graphic design initiatives under the direction of Creative Manager, utilizing approved project management platform.
• Build design files with immaculate structure, ensuring clean layer organization, properly packaged assets, and zero broken/missing links so that projects are easily editable and seamless for any team member to locate and work with.
• Maintains asset inventory of collateral, stock photography and promotional materials.
• Manages final production of print, web and email projects.
What You'll Bring
• B.A. or B.F.A. in Graphic Design, Visual Communications
• 5+ years of relevant agency and/or in-house creative visual design experience
• Experience designing for both print and digital mediums, including branding and visual identity, print layout, website, mobile and email, iconography, information design, environmentals and digital/social graphic creation
• Experience with UI, UX, wireframe development, social media, video and postproduction are all a plus.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite as most employees and clients are PC users.
• Familiarity with digital marketing platforms and tools such as WordPress, HubSpot or similar email automation platforms.
• Team player with a can-do attitude; curious self-starter who demonstrates initiative and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
• Strong online portfolio showcasing a variety of professional print and digital work.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Able to articulate and present design concepts outside of creative team.
• Ability to give and receive constructive feedback.
• Propensity to balance creative and analytical thinking to propose the best go-forward solution.
• Independent, organized worker with high attention to detail and strong critical thinking skills who is able to set priorities and manage multiple competing projects with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work in an onsite and virtual team atmosphere, collaborating with content writers, digital specialists and other creatives.
• Understands and stays up-to-date on current design trends and techniques.
