The Role
SpeedPro is launching a new Knoxville location with production, installation, and showroom capability, backed by our Tri-Cities home office. The Account Executive – Knoxville owns revenue growth in this market by building relationships, creating brand and capability awareness, developing project pipeline, and turning market momentum into sustained sales growth.
Compensation and Benefits
  •  $125,000–$175,000 OTE 
  •  Base plus commission 
  •  10 days PTO

  •  40–50 hours expected, Monday–Friday 
  •  Some B2B event-driven evening and weekend demands 

This is not a passive sales seat. The right person owns their daily schedule, prospecting activity, account development, project discovery, scoping, and outcomes. This role reports to the President and works laterally with Inside Sales for estimating and Operations for project management and execution. Sales experience is important. We are happy to patiently teach the industry specifics to a capable and willing learner.
Primary Responsibilities
Market Growth/ Penetration and Business Development
  •  - Own revenue growth for the Knoxville market. 
  •  - Be a hunter; build and manage a disciplined prospecting pipeline. 
  •  - Establish relationships with decision-makers across B2B accounts. 
  •  - Ramp-up Knoxville revenue and transition into sustained growth. 
Account Development and Sales Execution
  •  - Drive consultative discovery with prospects and existing clients with a long-term relationship mindset
  •  - Be sales curious; Identify project opportunities, business needs, timelines, decision-makers, and budgets. 
  •  - Build trust through valuable consultations, strong follow-through, practical recommendations, and clear communication. 
  •  - Develop repeat relationships with clients who value quality, speed, and professional execution. 
  •  - Manage sales outcomes with professionalism, ownership and accountability. 
Project Discovery and Scoping
  •  - Scope opportunities clearly before handing them to estimating or operations. 
  •  - Translate customer goals into practical project direction and product recommendations.
  •  - Work with Inside Sales to create accurate, complete estimates. 
  •  - Maintain clean handoffs so projects can move from sales to production and installation without confusion. 
  •  - Protect client expectations around timeline, scope, quality, and budget. 
Knoxville Brand and Capability Awareness
  • - Represent SpeedPro in the Knoxville business community. 
  • -  Educate clients on large-format graphics, signage, branding, and environmental visual solutions. 
  • - Participate in relevant B2B events and relationship-building opportunities. 
  • - Use SpeedPro’s existing reputation and marketing momentum to open doors and build local market presence.

Within 6–12 months, Knoxville sales are past the ramp-up stage and moving into sustained growth. The market has a strong pipeline, marked local awareness to the right clients, active customer relationships, and a clear rhythm of qualified opportunities moving from discovery to estimate to project execution.

This is visible, varied, high-standard work. Our projects include wallcoverings, murals, wayfinding and ADA signage packages, wall art, interior and exterior signage and graphics, window film, tint, frosting, security film, privacy film, custom design, and fleet vehicle branding. You’ll sell work that clients, employees, visitors, and communities see in the real world.
Requirements
  • - Proven experience and results in consultative, hands-on B2B sales.
