About SpeedPro Commercial Graphics
At SpeedPro Commercial Graphics, we create visual experiences that change the world. How? We help businesses bring ideas to life by creating graphics that transform how spaces are experienced and marketing more impactful. We give our clients the power to truly visually engage. Were the ones behind that fleet of trucks you see everywhere, and were also the ones that design, produce, and install the wall and floor murals you see at businesses, universities, and sports arenas across our area. We specialize in large-format printing, signage and graphics that give our customers the wow-factor they need.
At SpeedPro Commercial Graphics, we act with energy, passion, and professionalism. Were backed by a culture of teamwork, creativity, $value, speed and detail. Were looking for exceptional talent to join our fast growing team.
We are B2B only, partnering with well-known organizations and the most recognizable brands throughout our region. Youll create for professional high-level decision-makers and help deliver high-visibility work that people actually see in the real world.
Core Values (How We Work)
We expect every team member to embody and promote our core values:
Teamwork we grow and win as a team.
Creativity we solve problems with ideas, not excuses
$Value we consistently search for and deliver value to clients and our business
Timeliness (Speed) we move with urgency and keep promises
Attention to Detail we get it right the first time
The Role
This role owns production from design approval to ready for installation. You will run the shop, drive output, and build the systems that keep production clean, fast, organized, and dependable. That includes juggling multiple machines, planning work, managing machines and materials, maintaining the production environment, and inventory, tracking performance, and making sure completed projects move through the shop at speed without avoidable rework.
This is for someone who can lead from the floor, communicate clearly across functions, and make decisions that improve throughput and consistency. You will report to the General Manager, work laterally with the Design/Production Technical Lead and Operations Coordinator, and help build the future production team, beginning with a Production Assistant and additional Production Specialist roles as the department grows. This is not a 'put your head down and work in isolation role'. You'll be individually accountable but succeed as a team.
Primary Responsibilities
Production Ownership
  • Own production workflow from design approval through completed production and handoff for installation/completion.
  • Plan daily and weekly work to keep multiple jobs and machines moving efficiently
  • Produce fleet wraps, signage, wall murals, architectural graphics, fabrications, and other large-format work at speed and without rework
  • Balance urgency, quality, labor, and machine time to hit production goals consistently
Shop Systems and Standards
  • Build and execute systems for organization, inventory, maintenance, quality control, and shop flow
  • Enforce production standards that reduce errors, bottlenecks, waste, and last-minute problems
  • Insist on a clean, orderly, high-functioning shop space
  • Track output, issues, and recurring breakdown points so the department gets stronger over time
Equipment and Materials
  • Run and oversee production across plotters, laminators, roll printers, flatbed printers, CNC cutter/router, and associated RIP software
  • Ensure machines are set up, maintained, and used correctly for reliable daily output.
  • Track and perform machinery maintenance with documentation and transparency.
  • Manage production materials and inventory so the shop stays ready and jobs do not stall for preventable reasons
Leadership and Team Execution
  • Lead laterally with clarity and decisiveness across production, design/prepress, and operations
  • Set expectations, communicate priorities, and drive accountability in the production environment
  • Help onboard and manage production team members as the department quickly grows
  • Model urgency, follow-through, and a standards-first mindset on the floor every day

What Success Looks Like
  • Production runs in a way that is organized, predictable, efficient and fast
  • Jobs move through the shop with fewer mistakes, less rework, and stronger on-time completion
  • Machines, materials, people, and space are managed with foresight and discipline instead of reaction.
  • You see the value, have the ability and would rather do the hard process/systems work to keep a fire from happening than play the hero to put out a fire
Ideal Candidates Will Also Possess
  • A strong bias toward action and visible ownership
  • The ability to stay calm, decisive, and productive under pressure
  • Natural floor leadership and energy without relying on formal authority
  • Strong multitasking instincts and the ability to keep multiple priorities moving
  • High standards for pace, cleanliness, organization, and output
  • A practical, no-excuses approach to solving production problems
Other Skills or Backgrounds of Interest
  • Some file setup or Adobe Suite experience (this is NOT a graphic design position and strong graphic design backgrounds hold no extra bonus points)
  • Low voltage electrical experience
  • Machine, metal, welding, or fabrication experience
  • Experience in competitive team athletics, Military experience or other proven experience in a performance-based, high-functioning team environment

Working at SpeedPro
Youll work on visible projects for serious clients, using top-of-the-line professional large-format equipment and software to produce work that shows up in the real world. This is a role for someone who wants ownership, variety, pace, and the chance to build a production department that performs at a high level.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of wide-format signage or graphics production experience
  • Proven experience producing fleet wraps, signage, wall murals, architectural graphics, and fabrications at speed and without rework
  • Hands-on operating experience with plotters, laminators, roll printers, flatbed printers, CNC cutter/router, and associated RIP software
  • Ability to create and maintain clarity and focus through direct communication, influence and example.
  • Ability to build systems, processes, and organization that prevent problems before they happen
  • This is not a graphic design role; graphic design-heavy backgrounds will not be considered

  • Ability to stand and move for a full 8-hour workday
  • Ability to lift 50 lb rolls and sheets
  • Ability to safely use knives, hand tools, and PPE
  • References, background screening, and drug screening required
