Job description


Preparing loads of product for the cutting presses. Keep cutting department in clean and to assist in the SQF Audits while maintaining SQF standards.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Air Loads for each of the cutting presses
  • Empties the conveyor lines from the Asitrade
  • Removes scrap sheets from each press, bands up all waste loads and brings them to the warehouse
  • Moves laminated sheet loads to Asitrade WIP area
  • Keeps daily time and materials usage reports and records information in SAP and RF Gen
  • Performs Preventative Maintenance
  • Assist temporary employees with understanding task assignments while Reinforcing SQF standards and Graphic Packaging Internationals core values.
  • Perform housekeeping duties
  • Performs other duties as assigned by the Supervisor and Manager
  • Shares an obligation to protect and strengthen Graphic Packaging International's good reputation in our relationships with customers, employees, suppliers, competitors, investors, and governmental agencies, and to act consistently with our core values: Integrity, Respect, Accountability, Relationships, and Teamwork

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Basic computer skills, data entry
  • Visual Color Discrimination, the ability to match or detect differences between colors, including shades of colors
  • Familiar with SQF compliance standards
  • Familiar with Food defense compliance standards
  • Forklift certified
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

  • High School Diploma, GED

Physical Demands:

  • Able to lift and/or move up to 50 lb.
  • Occasional climbing, stooping, bending and overhead reaching.
  • Frequent standing and walking.
  • Fine hand manipulation.
  • Grasping and gripping.
  • Reading computer screen or other electronic devices.
  • Color vision needed to detect inappropriate color of product.
  • Must be able to work 12 hour shifts plus overtime as required
  • Must be able to work any shift (days/graveyard)
  • Must be able to work weekends and holidays as needed.
