Reports to: Creative Manager
Position Summary:
The Graphic Production Designer is responsible for creating, updating, and preparing marketing and sales materials for both print and digital distribution. This role combines strong design execution with production expertise, ensuring all creative assets are accurate, brand-compliant, and delivered on schedule. The position supports a variety of projects, including product catalogs, advertisements, promotional materials, packaging, digital graphics, and sales support materials. This role works cross-functionally with the entire organization to bring our catalog designs to life, ensuring they are both aesthetically pleasing and effectively communicate our brands’ message.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
The position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and communicate a clear vision for the company's visual identity and creative direction, aligning design initiatives with broader business goals.
  • Collaborate with the marketing, product management, and creative teams to develop concepts and layouts for product catalogs.
  • Design and produce visually appealing catalog pages that showcase our products in the best possible light.
  • Ensure consistency in branding and design elements across all catalog pages.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to tight deadlines and production schedules.
  • Make revisions and updates to catalog layouts as needed based on stakeholder feedback.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices in graphic design and catalog production.
  • Ensure all designs adhere to brand guidelines and maintain a high standard of quality and consistency across all materials.
  • Attend company events, trade shows, and motorsports events; serve as a representative of the company; and develop written content about those events and activities for use across various company channels.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Education/Experience/Qualifications:
  • Associate’s degree or higher in graphic design or a related field, preferred.
  • Proven experience as a graphic designer, with a strong understanding of graphic design principles, required.
  • Working knowledge on industry trends and best practices in graphic design and catalog production, and ability to stay current, preferred.
  • Portfolio showcasing a diverse range of digital and print design projects, demonstrating creativity, originality, and technical proficiency, required.
  • Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, as well as other Adobe Creative Suite software (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.), required.
  • Experience working on large product catalogs or similar print materials, preferred.
  • A passion for design and a creative mindset, with a willingness to think outside the box and push the boundaries of traditional design, required.
  • Working knowledge of the automotive aftermarket industry, preferred. Performance automotive enthusiast is a plus.
Skills amp; Abilities:
  • Superior attention to detail, a keen eye for aesthetics, and pixel-perfect execution.
  • Excellent organizational skills and detail-oriented with exceptional critical thinking, multi-tasking, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to communicate effectively (clear and concise) through writing, speaking, active listening, and presentation. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and other job-related equipment and software.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret data.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work both independently, within a team, and cross-functionally with other departments/stakeholders.
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision/guidance and must be self-directed.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and sound judgment.
  • Ability to develop and foster business relationships.
  • Willing to participate in company-designated training.
  • Must have knowledge of and comply with the policies and procedures contained in the company handbook.
  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality.
  • Must be able to practice safe work habits.
